Crash Landed & Wrecked B-17 Flying Fortresses

This collection of pictures of crash landed and wrecked B-17's was contributed by Warren J. Williamson of Griffin, Georgia.  His uncle W.R. "Bob" Williamson served in the 9th Depot Repair Squadron at Honnington Air Base in England.  Unfortunately Warren was unable to supply much in the way of background information about these other than his uncle is pictured next to the B-17 named "5 Grand".  "5 Grand" was the 5000th B-17 built by Boeing and was autographed by factory workers.  I presume that these planes all crash landed on return from bombing missions in Europe.
