from our own conscience

principles of non-violent action.

the real costs of this war
in human lives, human bodies, human
families, and human communities here,
in Iraq and in Afghanistan.
We believe we have exhausted all
legal remedies to stop the war
and bring home our troops, and
now are resorting to non-violent civil resistance
in the tradition of Gandhi, and
Martin Luther King.
This could mean boycotts, strikes,
non-cooperation and civil disobedience.
We are dedicated to saving the
lives of innocents on both sides of this conflict,
inspiring public opinion against
the war, and bringing our troops home alive.
