Edgar C. Peara was born in Moline, Illinois in 1921. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945 and particpated in numorous amphibious invasions including the Normandy D-Day and Okinawa.  Mr. Peara also served in the Korea War in the capacity of Christian Science Chaplain at the US Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. The Rev. Edgar Peara belongs to the Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene and is Minister Emeritus of the UU Community Church, Park Forest, IL.

A warning to all, of the unseen damage caused by war and killing, from a unique perspective.
 

Peaceful Pursuit of War
A different approach to kill and conquer was applied with success in 1942.
