Squadron13 Newsletter - February 12, 2005A gift for you, in celebration of Black History Month...
Before I tell you about my special gift to you in celebration of Black History month I would like to make a few announcements:
We have a brand new blog that is now up and running. We’re inviting you to join our discussion in any of the following topics; “Flights of Thought on War and Politics”, or about Veterans Issues. You can find out more about our new blog or even participate in our discussion by clicking on this link: http://www.squadron13.com/phpBB2/index.php
Now, in celebration of Black History Month
I would like to give you a gift. It is a short but high quality recording of a song that I performed myself on a 100 year old American made reed organ. I would call this song especially appropriate for today. It is a song of worship and was first sung by Americans. Black Americans. The song is widely recognized and loved by all. It was first sung during a time of great sadness for many.
Seems fitting to hear it again now, also a time of sadness, for many.I hope you enjoy it. You can download the 500K (mp3 format) file right now by clicking on this link - http://www.squadron13.com/blackhistorymonth/blackhistory.mp3
or go to this page to find out more about it...

Gordon Sturrock
