Flights of Thought on War and Politics |
Here are further articles that I personally have found very informative.
GordonI feel a responsibility to communicate with you all about a matter of great and urgent concern: the vote fraud Issue in Ohio and elsewhere.
First of all, if you read nothing else, read “To Doubters of Vote Fraud”
Although you may find this information hard to believe like I did, please keep an open mind. If you’ve read the articles I’ve posted and you still think I’m a left-wing conspiracy nut and a sore loser to boot - go ahead and tell me, by private message or as an entry to my guestbook. I just might post it!
Here are the essentials in a nutshell:
The heretofore unfailingly accurate exit polls up until after the polls closed on November 2 indicated that Kerry would win (Zogby was calling 313 electoral votes for Kerry), even in the face of massive Republican voter suppression. Suddenly, like magic, the vote count then turned toward Bush – but only in jurisdictions using electronic machines (a 6% disparity with exit polls, all favoring Bush, in the 3 key swing states). Where there were paper trails, the vote counts closely matched exit poll data (less than 1% disparity). The same extremely improbable disparities occurred in Ohio that occurred in the Ukraine. These data cannot be casually dismissed as paranoid delusion, wishful thinking, or unfounded "conspiracy theory" by sore losers, especially after the 2000 Republican vote fraud exposed by Greg Palast. The 2004 events were not unpredictable, since the foxes have had 4 years to run free in the electronic voting henhouse.
This is not a partisan issue. Democratic politicians in the past have also been guilty of unethical and manipulative conduct, but never on this scale. I believe we are now faced with one of the great political scandals of American history and must confront this with appropriate alarm and with steadfast determination to protect the democratic institutions for which so many have suffered and died. As citizens of the world’s oldest functioning democracy, we must demand a full investigation and a relentless media spotlight upon these grave, unanswered questions that it is the constitutionally protected duty of a free press to provide.
Have Americans grown so shallow, cynical and self-absorbed to shrug off what Ukrainians wasted no time repudiating in mass demonstrations and a Supreme Court reversal? The End of American Democracy
Actually it is titled "American democracy hangs by a thread in Ohio" (December 15, 2004) but by the time you read this my title might be more appropriate. Written by by Bob Fitrakis, Steve Rosenfeld and Harvey Wasserman from www.freepress.org discusses issues around the Ohio recount, election fraud and the seemingly successful effort to make it all go away.Psychological Casualties of War

Here's something encouraging to think about besides voter fraud. How do families living out of cardboard boxes sound or entire family groups living together in one house because no one can make a living to live as single families. Kind of sounds like a third world country doesn't it. The moral right will become more rigid and spend more time talking to God because no one else will be there to listen when they need help. There will be no public programs because we spent all our money building up the Iraq economy. Only the ultra rich elite will have the comforts that American's have been spoiled by for so long. We'll all switch to riding bicycles because no one can afford gas or new vehicles. Our children will go to quality schools only if we have enough money to pay. Vouchers for poor children will relegate them to crowded and inefficient schools, if they can qualify for the voucher. Law enforcement will become even more prohibitive as the government has to make new rules allowing for greater infringements upon personal liberty. Police Officers will begin to look like soldiers dressed for combat as the starving masses become more desperate to provide for their families and the elite class becomes more paranoid of the poor masses. Oh, and retirement, don't even think about it.
Thank you Lord that George gets his instructions from you because all of this must be the right for us. God bless America the Great Northern Banana Republic.
American Veteran - Jim FieldsGeneral McPeak, "Bush must go"
Former Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Merrill "Tony" McPeak doesn't mince his words. He says, "I'm an anybody but Bush guy". During Desert Storm he was a four star general who lead the air war in Iraq for Dubya's daddy. Hmmm, he just might know something about this, I suppose. No Free Speech around this President!
President Bush taught three Oregon school teachers a new lesson in irony – or tragedy – Thursday night (Oct 14, 2004) when his campaign removed them from a Bush speech and threatened them with arrest simply for wearing t-shirts that said “Protect Our Civil Liberties.”Letter to President Bush
This letter was signed by 226 veterans and family members of veterans. An attempt was made to deliver the letter in person to Laura Bush on September 29, 2004. Secret Service agents refused the request. A second attempt was made to deliver the letter on October 14, 2004 when President Bush visited Oregon. He didn't care to read it either. I thought I would make it easy for them and post it here, to read whenever the fancy strikes them.More Very Important Political Links about Election Fraud 2004
