It is always Black History Month at Squadron13!

In celebration of Black History Month I would like to give you a gift.  It is a short but high quality recording of a song that I performed myself on a 100 year old American made reed organ. I would call this song especially appropriate for this occasion. It is a song of worship and was created and first sung by Americans. Black Americans. The song is widely recognized and loved by all. It was first sung during a time of great sadness for many.

Though I'll be playing it rather than singing it, it seems very fitting to hear it again now, also a time of great sadness, for many.

I hope you enjoy it. You can download the 560K file right now by clicking on this link - BlackHistoryGift

If you are wondering the answers to ponderous questions like the following, click on the appropriate link:

What is the name of the song? Tell me more about it.

or

What does the instrument that you play it on, look like?

or

Why is is that you, a white guy, are promoting Black History?

or

How did you record this song?

Sincerely,
Gordon Sturrock
