The night before we left (March 4th), Sergio, an Iraq War Vet who is scheduled to give testimony at the
Winter Soldier Investigation in D.C. pops over for a visit to help us get ready for our trip.
Here he is helping us install a new seat for the Squadron13-deployed bus.

Thumbs up for the new seat, we eagerly look forward to meeting again in D.C.

A quick meeting of peace buses, the "Wheels of Justice" bus joins us just before we part Eugene.

We notice many memorials to our troops on our travels. Our troops need much more than lip service.

Good question, how do Americans sleep at night?

Peace and Justice Center in Sacramento hosted us for a gathering and potluck.

We were interviewed by Ayad Al-Qazzaz for public TV, a former resident of Baghdad, now a professor a the
California State University, Sacramento.

Maggie Coulter gives Jack a bottle of olive oil, a major export of Palestine that we should support.
The olive tree, which can live over a thousand years and nearly a million of which Israel has bulldozed or uprooted,
is a symbol of Palestinian resistance to Israel's land theft and illegal occupation.
